Today was our first day reading with our Reading Buddies! Ten of us stayed upstairs in Room 402 and ten of us went downstairs to Georga's classroom. Then, a group of Pre-K students came upstairs to our classroom while some stayed downstairs in Pre-K. We each chose a reading buddy and got to know each other.Second graders will spend half of the year upstairs, just reading and doing book-talks with each other. The other half of the year, second graders will be downstairs doing fun crafts and activities around books as well as some reading. Ask your child if they are an "upstairs kid" or a "downstairs kid" for this part of the year and what they did! It was a lot of fun, no matter which room we were in!
